PPHA Case Compeition

The Delaware Academy of Medicine/Delaware Public Health Association (Academy/DPHA), Maryland Public Health Association (MdPHA), and Pennsylvania Public Health Association (PPHA) are once again bringing together regional experts for a two-day conference focused on the theme, “Public Health and Climate Change: Response, Policy and Implementation.”

PPHA is pleased to host our first ever Case Competition on the first day of the conference, Thursday, March 16, at West Chester University (The Sciences & Engineering Center and The Commons, 155 University Ave, West Chester, PA 19383).

Both undergraduate and graduate teams of students from across all three states are invited to compete. The case will embody the theme of our conference, and provide a rich and thought-provoking experience for students interested in the intersection of climate change and health. This competition is designed to bring students together in a fun and developmental environment in hopes that they will learn from each other as they offer innovative solutions to the ever-evolving public health challenges that public health practitioners face during their careers!

If you are interested in participating in this case competition, please contact Sophia Poeta so that you can be added to a listserv for further communication. Please include any team members you have in mind in this e-mail. We also invite inquiries from potential faculty advisors interested in supporting a team.
