Networking

DSPH encourages public health students to make connections and build relationships with peers, faculty, staff, and alumni through engaging in programs and other resources. These connections are essential to building a successful career and can lead you to contacts and advice as you enter public health. Networking shouldn’t wait until you’re scouting the job market! Start making connections now through the below resources.

Looking for a mentor? Dragon Network utilizes online networking and flash mentoring to empower students and alumni to connect with each other for mentoring, networking and career support within the public health community.  All alumni and current students are eligible to participate in the program, regardless of residency. Students are encouraged to enroll and:

  • Network with a variety of mentors for singular conversations
  • Connect with others who share your interests and/or career goals
  • Get career-related answers from discussion forums
  • Learn about (and attend!) professional events and workshops
