Orientation Overview

Welcome to the Dornsife School of Public Health!

The Dornsife School of Public Health is excited to welcome new dragons to campus during New Student Orientation (NSO). NSO provides an opportunity to learn about University resources and network with other master’s students, and Dornsife’s faculty and staff. NSO utilizes both online courses and in person events to help students transition to life at Dornsife. Learn more about how to participate in NSO:

Attendance

Dornsife Orientation is designed to aid in the transition into public health student life by offering opportunities to explore Drexel and Dornsife services and resources, and connect with fellow students, faculty, and staff. Your educational foundation is built upon the experiences and activities offered. Therefore, we expect students to review Dornsife’s Online Orientation via Drexel Learn and attend sessions offered during Welcome Week.

Please note that it is not possible to replicate or reteach interactive learning experiences for individual students if absent from NSO.

Dornsife Orientation

Dornsife School of Public Health Online Orientation

This required, self-paced, asynchronous resource provides you important information about public health and connects you to the Dornsife community. The course is now open and can be used as a reference source throughout your student tenure.

You may access the course via  Drexel Learn, Drexel’s learning management system (LMS). Some also refer to Drexel Learn as “Blackboard Learn” or “Learn” for short.
