Associate Director for Student Success
Erin Durkin (she/her) is committed to using a holistic approach to student development when providing vocational and academic guidance to students as they strive to achieve their goals. She has 11 years of experience in advising students in health-based programs. From May 2019-January 2021, she served as the senior academic advisor for DSPH’s undergraduate public health program. Prior to coming to Drexel, she worked as the associate director of academic advising at Northeastern University and the health professions advisor at Moravian College. Erin holds a Master of Science in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from Boston College.
Rachel Benjamin (she/her) is so excited to be a part of the advising team at Dornsife. Rachel is a licensed social worker who brings a strengths-based perspective to advising. She strongly believes in meeting students where they are as they strive towards achieving their academic and professional goals. In her free time, Rachel enjoys taking walks along the Schuykill River Trail, going to shows at the Kimmel Center, and spending time with her cat. Rachel holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and English with a minor in Theatre Arts from Brandeis University.
Before moving into advising, Krystle Fogarty (she/her) served as the Academic Coordinator in DSPH Academic Affairs from August 2018-January 2021. She worked as a Career Services and Event Coordinator at Eckerd College prior to joining Drexel and received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Eckerd College.
Imani Price (she/her) is a native of Massachusetts and focuses on holistic and identity-based advising. She has three years of experience in higher education student development and is passionate about supporting students in thriving, not just surviving, at their institution. Prior to coming to Drexel, Imani worked as a Graduate Assistant for MIT’s Office of Multicultural Programs and as a Success Coach for Bottom Line College Counseling Services. Imani holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is currently completing her master’s degree in Higher Education Student Affairs at Salem State University. Imani loves to travel, spend time with her loved ones, enjoy nature, and take care of her house plants. She is excited to connect and support you throughout your degree program.
