Understanding and effectively managing conflict is an important part of creating and maintaining an inclusive work and campus culture. This workshop provides an overview of conflict, highlighting a variety of sources of conflict and their impact on member satisfaction and retention. Participants will be introduced to the concept of moving from differentiation (acknowledging difference) towards integration (super-ordinate goal) by moving beyond positions towards interests. Participants will explore strategies and techniques to manage conflict in the Drexel community.
Please note that this workshop will not be recorded. This workshop is open to all Dornsife students, a part of the Professional Development Series, and meets the requirement for the success completion of PBHL 500.
