Philadelphia Parks & Recreation is looking for Volunteers to help make the Broad Street Run a Low-Waste Event!

Volunteers will help make the race more sustainable by promoting recycling, composting, and reuse during the event on April 30^th, 2023. Activities will include monitoring recycling, compost, and trash bins; educating people about proper disposal; and supporting with logistics to ensure materials are donated, reused, or recycled. We can offer community service hours or a stipend of $20 per member, payable to your group, for any group members registered by 4/21/23.

Volunteers can register to help at the Start Area from 5:30AM – 10:30AM or at the Finish Area from 7:00AM – 10:30 AM.

Individuals can register on the Broad Street Run Volunteer Website under the “Sustainability” section. Groups can register by completing this Google Form https://forms.gle/xYUiF23D5KvtcHA1A.
