Serve Your Community Through Public Health AmeriCorps
The pandemic heightened the visibility of health disparities in the United States. In response, Public Health AmeriCorps was launched to bolster the public health ecosystem and support people in critical need. Join us to learn about Public Health AmeriCorps, hear from people currently serving in the program, and see how you can serve your community while getting paid and gaining valuable experience in the field of public health.
To serve in Public Health AmeriCorps, you must be 17 years or older (no upper age limit) and be a U.S. citizen, U.S. National, or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien.

Climate Change And Health: Opportunities For Students
As part of the World Federation of Public Health Associations’ (WFPHA) Global Public Health Week, ASPPH will host a webinar dedicated to student engagement in climate change and its intersection with public health. Featuring guest speakers and a TIPH student ambassador, we will hear about some of the most pressing issues in climate change and health and ways students might actively become involved in moving the needle forward on climate change and health research, practice, policy, and advocacy.

Interested in pursuing a graduate degree in public health? Join us to learn about the resources available to you to find your fit, the process for applying, and tips to strengthen your application. This presentation will include time for Q&A.

Experience Public Health
Having the opportunity to gain exposure to a career field is an invaluable experience – not just for your resume or graduate school application, but to help you gain clarity in your interests. This webinar will feature four opportunities to gain that experience as an undergraduate or recent alumni. Hear from HRTP: A Public Health Internship Program at the NYC Health Department, Health Career Connection, CDC’s Public Health Associate Program (CDC PHAP) and Summer Health Professions Education Program. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions during the session.

40 Under 40 In Public Health Career Panel
As part of National Public Health Week, ASPPH is partnering with the de Beaumont Foundation to present you with a panel of honorees from their 40 Under 40 in Public Health program. Nominations are currently open for the program’s Class of 2023.
Join us to hear about their paths to public health and how they are using creativity and innovation to improve the health of communities across the nation.
