The Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council is a group of like-minded construction safety professionals dedicated to the protection of life and property in the construction industry. Their efforts are directed towards, but not limited to: sharing safety information for their mutual benefits, fostering safety awareness, standardizing safety practices, encouraging cooperation and open communications, providing a resource of knowledge, experience and information and assisting contractors with implementing and maintaining safe work practices.
The Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council Foundation is sponsoring annual CASH AWARD scholarship for an undergraduate student studying to be a safety or industrial hygiene professional.
The deadline to fill out the application is February 10th.
Students will need to get 2 letters of recommendation, the application and essay and a transcript to the council by Feb 10th.
