Through this 9-week online learning program, participants will learn to magnify the impact of their organization through improved grant fundraising skills that increase organizational funding to meet public health needs. The course is presented through online synchronous learning sessions and coursework.
Target Audience
The course is intended for early to early/mid-career public health practitioners without in-depth experience in, or leadership of, grant writing. Students are admitted by application only.
Schedule
The course runs Monday, October 10 to Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
To learn and practice the skills taught in the course and to complete course deliverables, participants must commit approximately six hours per week. Participants can complete most coursework according to their own schedules, with the exception of two one-on-one coaching phone calls with the instructor and four synchronous webinars.
Application Process
We ask that learners begin with a fully formed idea of a grant proposal they are interested in completing for their organization. The course application, essentially a project idea brief, allows you to share your grant proposal idea with us and show that you are prepared to commit to and utilize all this course has to offer.
Are you working or would you like to work on a project with a colleague or with a team? Joint applications are highly encouraged! Partnerships of two people and teams of up to four people may take the course as a unit and develop a grant proposal together. If you are interested in this option, please indicate as such on the application and include names and contact information for all members of the team.
Applications are accepted and evaluated on a rolling basis until the course is full or until Friday, September 30, 2022.
