The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) is conducting a worldwide “We are Public Health” workforce study through the end of July. Dornsife School of Public Health encourages students to participate in the survey.
The study is being conducted to determine the most common functions of the public health workforce on a region-by-region basis across the globe. This will be the first-of-its-kind study using the task-based methodology to analyze the responsibilities of the global public health workforce at this level of detail. The National Board of Public Health Examiners will also share the results with the World Health Organization and World Federation of Public Health Associations which are creating work plans to prepare the future of the public health workforce.
The elements we will be collecting include:
- Common functions and responsibilities
- Country of origin, race and ethnicity
- Employer type and organizational affiliation
- Primary skills and area of expertise
- Educational background
Anyone with work experience in public health is eligible to take this survey. Read the FAQ and take the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TVWVW6F
