Please consider recognizing the wonderful contributions of Dornsife students and faculty, who have made significant contributions to Dornsife School of Public Health.

Dornsife Awards

The Dornsife Awards celebrate the successes of students, faculty, and alumni during the 2021-2022 academic year. Faculty, professional staff, and students are encouraged to nominate individuals and self-nominate for any of the awards. Please note that an individual may be nominated for multiple awards, but is limited to winning only one award.

Please review the award descriptions for further information on required materials, evaluation criteria, and the nomination process and timeline.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 15 by 12:00PM EDT via Qualtrics. Incomplete nominations will not be considered.

Delta Omega

Founded in 2010, Dornsife’s Beta Omega Chapter of Delta Omega, a Public Health Honor Society, promotes excellence and recognizes accomplishments in scholarship and research. The Delta Omega Beta Omega Chapter Alumni Nomination Committee reviews all nominations and selects students in the top quartile of GPA with an outstanding record of service to the community. Faculty, professional staff, and students are encouraged to nominate individuals and self-nominate for any of the awards.

Graduate Student Excellence Awards

The Graduate College invites students, faculty, and professional staff to nominate deserving graduate and professional students for excellence awards in mentorship, scholarship, civic engagement, community building, social change, service, research, and teaching assistance. Select awards also allow for self-nomination.

More information about each award, including eligibility, evaluation criteria, and required materials to be prepared in advance can be found on the Graduate College website. Please review the award information and required materials prior to starting a nomination form as you will be asked to upload completed documents.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 22, 2022 at 12:00 PM EDT.

Recipients will be notified around May 13, 2022 and invited to receive their award at the annual Graduate Student Day awards ceremony and reception (date TBA)!
