Human Trafficking: Increasing Awareness among Public Health & Healthcare Practitioners

In observation of Human Trafficking Awareness Month (January), this Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Speaker Series webinar is the first of a 2-part series exploring the topic of human trafficking. 

Following a topic overview, Dawn Schiller, expert trainer, will share her lived experiences & recommendations. Regional anti-trafficking initiatives and resources will be shared.

  • Alexis Polen: Region III Liaison with the HHS Office on Trafficking in Persons
  • Trish Danner: Region III Outreach Specialist for the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services
  • Christine Woolslayer: Public Health Advisor for the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health in Region III
