Give Kids Sight Day

This year is the 12th annual Give Kids Sight Day, an opportunity for children ages 6-17 to receive free vision screenings and eyeglasses. The goal of the event is to provide quality vision services to children who are uninsured.

Children First PA is seeking volunteers to staff their remote call center, where families call in to make appointments for virtual eye screenings for their kids, on Monday, September 20th. All calls will be answered remotely using your cell phone or laptop through a program that shows calls as coming from Children First, not your personal phone, and all registration will be done online.

Volunteers are welcome to sign up for more than one shift! Spanish, Mandarin, and Indonesian speaking volunteers are needed.
