A Place at the Table is the Dornsife School of Public Health’s Orientation 2021-2022 Summer Learning selection. To access the documentary for free, courtesy of the Drexel Library, sign into AVON (the Drexel Library’s online video repository) with your University credentials.

Each summer, students, faculty, and staff select a common media to provide a shared experience to the Dornsife community and incoming class. The award-winning 2012 documentary, featuring Dornsife’s Dr. Mariana Chilton, investigates the impact of the hunger crisis in the U.S. All Dornsife students are highly encouraged to view the documentary and invited to participate in the discussion.

The Summer Learning Circle occurs during Orientation on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 1:00-2:30PM EST in Stein Auditorium, Nesbitt Hall and via Zoom.
