UHC Announces APE Funding

The Drexel Urban Health Collaborative (UHC) announces funding for up to two Applied Practical Experience placements for Dornsife School of Public Health master’s students. Students interested in urban health or focusing their Applied Practical Experience (formerly called Depth Experiences), are encouraged to apply. Funding opportunities are available to students in good academic standing and interested in pursuing research projects in urban areas.

Students complete the Dornsife School of Public Health APE placement process to select a supervised, hands-on 120-hour public health experience within public health practice settings.

The APE can be completed anywhere, but to receive funding from the Drexel UHC, it should be focused on urban health. Research projects may be eligible if they are aligned with UHC goals, have a clear practical application, and the student can demonstrate how they will acquire professional skills.

Funding opportunities are available to DSPH students in good academic standing. Applications will be accepted until May 14th.
