Volunteer at Drexel’s Vaccine Clinic now through June

As the City of Philadelphia has expanded eligibility requirements for COVID-19 vaccine, Drexel University is planning to offer vaccines to all students, staff, faculty, and to the West Philadelphia community. The University is currently operating a large “high through-put” clinic on campus in Behrakis Hall (3210 Chestnut St), in partnership with Sunray Drugs, and needs volunteers to support clinic operations.

Volunteers are needed for three shifts: 9:00AM-12:00PM, 12:00PM-3:00PM, and 3:00PM-6:00PM starting now through June.

Still searching for an APE? An Applied Practice Experience is also available for one or two students who wish to devote more time to this effort and assist with volunteer coordination, training, and other aspects of the vaccination program.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • assisting with the flow of individuals when they arrive and move through the clinic
  • coordinating logistics
  • data entry
  • community outreach
  • sharing health information

Future clinics may also be off campus in community settings.
