Join the LeBow College of Business on Tuesday, February 2nd from 12:00PM-1:00PM EST via Zoom!
In support and celebration of Black History Month, and in advance of Women’s History Month, the LeBow College of Business is proud to present a discussion on Black women entrepreneurs – the nation’s fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs.
More women of color, specifically Black women, are leaving corporate America to start their own businesses but receive less than one percent of venture capital funding and have faced disproportionate impacts due to the pandemic.
Moderated by Karla Trotman, EMBA ‘15, president & CEO at Electro Soft Inc., this event features a stellar panel of ambitious Black women entrepreneurs who will share experiences on their entrepreneurial journeys and the importance of supporting Black-owned businesses. The discussion will also feature insights on the tools needed to successfully start and sustainably grow a business.
